      <image:title>Services - Barre Classic</image:title>
      <image:caption>Accessible to everyone (no ballet experience required!), our signature barre class combines attributes of Pilates, dance, and functional fitness. Using small, isolated movements to fatigue the muscles, larger range of motion movements to elevate the heart rate, and sequencing that incorporates both upper and lower body, we make every minute count. The result? A total body workout that leaves you mentally strong and feeling accomplished. Upbeat instructors and killer playlists provide the fuel for an intense and FUN workout! Barre Classic is a 55-minute class. We also offer Barre Express, which is a 45-minute version of our signature class. Wear comfortable workout clothes and bring a bottle of water.       <image:caption>After recovering from spinal surgery, Elizabeth was eager to find a form of exercise that would strengthen her core, help her regain flexibility, and provide a low-impact but challenging full-body workout. She found all of this in barre and Pilates. Elizabeth dove in head-first and in 2018 took ownership of Barrevolution, a boutique barre studio in Chester, MD. Now as the leader of Core Collective, she continues to share the joy of movement with the Eastern Shore community. Elizabeth is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist, as well as a comprehensively trained, nationally certified Pilates teacher. She recently completed a Classical Pilates Master’s program, under the guidance of second-generation teacher Lesley Logan. A member of the Barre Fitness Alliance, she is a certified Barre Intensity Advanced Instructor. Elizabeth graduated from Loyola University in New Orleans with a degree in English Literature, and still loves curling up with a good book when she’s not at the studio. She currently lives in Grasonville with her husband, two children, bunny, and two golden retrievers.</image:caption>

After having ACL surgery in 2021 she was looking for a low-impact workout that was challenging and made you work up a good sweat. In that process, she found Barre at Core Collective and never looked back! Lauren loves to spend time with her family, be outdoors, go to the beach, cook and entertain friends and family. She lives on Kent Island with her husband, 2 kids and Golden Retriever. When not teaching in the studio, she also works as a Proposal Manager.</image:caption>

Now back home, Abby is thrilled to combine her love for dance and fitness by teaching Barre at Core Collective. After becoming a dedicated student herself, she knew she wanted to share that same energy and connection with others. When Abby isn’t in a studio dancing or taking or teaching barre, you can find her with family in friends going for walks in the area, having coffee on the water, or traveling on the weekends.</image:caption>

Although Jenn continued to practice Pilates over the years, it wasn’t until she found Core Collective that she was inspired to become re-certified and get back to teaching. Outside of the studio, Jenn can be found at her kids’ sporting events, wandering the aisles in Trader Joes, working her 9-5 job providing CFO support to small government consulting firms, and headed to the beach any chance she can get.       <image:caption>Keli’s love of group fitness led her to yoga in her twenties. Her personal practice has allowed her to feel good both mentally and physically, through the highs and lows of life. As a full time Pediatric Registered Nurse at Johns Hopkins, Keli took her first yoga teacher training in 2017 from Kidding Around Yoga designed for healthcare providers. In 2019, her passion and yearning to learn more led her to complete her 200 hour yoga teacher training at Ruah in Annapolis MD. Although Keli has taught many different styles of yoga classes, her true passion is to hold space for students to let go, unwind and recharge.  Keli and her husband are high school sweethearts who grew up in Connecticut. In addition to fitness classes, Keli enjoys her workouts outside, walking/hiking or bike riding.
